Math - June 18,
2009 - There are two new documents for 9-12. The first is by MISIC benchmark with
descriptors, essential questions, vocabulary & ICC alignment, another lists the updated ICC and shows which
MISIC benchmarks align.
Literacy - May 14, 2009 - K-8 Standards and Benchmarks completed with alignment
to ICC. There are three new documents for each of the grade spans (K-2, 3-5, 6-8). One is by MISIC benchmark with descriptors,
essential questions, vocabulary & ICC alignment, another lists the ICC and shows which MISIC benchmarks align
and the third is a quick view of just the MISIC Standards and Benchmarks. 9-12 Standards and Benchmarks completed with
alignment to ICC.
Social Studies - 9-12 Descriptors have been added to the Standards and Benchmarks.
The draft of the preliminary alignment to ICC is now posted.
Science - An
updated document of MISIC Standards/Benchmarks by Course (9-12). There is a NEW DOCUMENT that has 9-12 Standards, Benchmarks,
Descriptors and Essential Questions. There are now documents that show the ICC alignment for K-8 and the MISIC Standards &
Benchmarks by Standard and Grade Level.
The alignment/revision work is continuing - so check back for further
info!!
